Halloween, Part 3 - Trick or Treat!

The girls were all 3 so excited to go trick or treating tonight! They looked very cute and were willing to pose to pictures too! Enjoy!

Halloween, Part 2 - Annlee's school

After Kaylin's parade was over, we all headed over to the preschool for Annlee's Fall Festival. She got to wear her costume, a ballerina, and go around to all the games that were set up. She had lots of fun. After the games, the kids came and sat on stage for a quick photo op and then sang a song. They were all excited to then go back to their classroom for some Halloween refreshments.

Halloween, Part 1 - Kaylin's school

These pictures are from Kaylin's Halloween Parade this morning. The kids get to wear their costumes to school and show off for the parents. Kaylin has a Southern Belle costume and it was funny to see that one of her good friends in her class was also dressed as a Southern Belle. They looked cute together.
Kaylin was excited to see Mema, Papa, and Aunt Heather there!

Annlee's Birthday

Annlee celebrated her birthday Wednesday with some gifts from us and getting to take a snack to school. She was so excited that the day was finally here. The first thing she told me when she woke up was, "Mama, I'm 5!!" Here's a few pictures from her big day. The cookies are what I made to send in for her snack. We aren't supposed to do cupcakes. She also requested "curly cheetos."

Our Pumpkins!

We got a pumpkin for each of us at the church's pumpkin patch this year. We were going to carve them, but we found these cute little plastic things that you stick in them instead. We got a couple packs and everyone picked which facial parts they wanted on their pumpkin. Amazingly, we did it without any arguments over who got what. They turned out really cute. What you can't see is that Maryella's also has a mouth on the back of hers. She was really proud of that!
(By the way, did anyone notice our new front door? It's been in a few of the recent posts. We just had that put in within the last week or so. I love the windows on either side - before we had double doors on the front.)

The Little Angels

That's the name of our children's choir at church. The kids sang today and did a super job! I forgot to bring the camera that will take videos, so you'll just have to be satisfied with this picture. Know that they did exceptionally well though! (This was the K-5th choir, so Kaylin is the only one of ours that sang today.)

Fall Festival

Today was our Fall Festival at church. We had one combined service, followed by lunch and games. The kids were allowed to wear non-scary costumes if they wanted. Annlee and Maryella wore their costumes, but Kaylin's would have gotten in the way of her playing, so she opted out of hers today. Both the service and the festival were very well attended and everyone seemed to have a great time. I took tons of pictures (you knew that, though, right?) and wanted to share them!

I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream for Ice Cream!

Annlee celebrated her birthday with her friends today with an Ice Cream Party. We played games when the kids got here - Pin the Cherry on the Ice Cream Cone, an ice cream relay race and an ice cream tasting game where they had to guess which flavors they were sampling. The tasting game was definitely a hit. Annlee opened gifts, we sang and cut the ice cream cone cake, and the kids made ice cream sundaes. They all left sugared up and, if they were like our girls, very tired. Here are some pictures from our fun day!
