Cape San Blas! Part 1 - Beach

Are you ready for some pictures???? We just got back on Sunday from a week long beach vacation with my family and had the best time! Everything was wonderful! The weather was great - it only rained once and we were already inside for the night anyway. We stayed in a house right on the beach and we also had our own private pool - it couldn't get any better than that!

I've decided that the easiest way to share the pictures (for me) is to divide them up a little. So here are all the pictures I took on the beach. (We had a photographer come take pictures on the beach, but I don't have those pictures yet. I also will probably post other pictures that other family members took after we exchange photo dvds!)

Part 2 - Pool

Here we are enjoying our own private pool! I can not even begin to say how nice this was!! We plan on making the beach trip an annual thing and we've all agreed that the pool is a must!!!

Maryella celebrated her birthday while we were there and Aunt Linny and Uncle Chris gave her this cool Ariel stuff! (Everyone had to have a turn trying to on, even Aunt Linny!)

Aunt Trista and Uncle Max gave Maryella this neat 3D chalk. It really works. You can see Maryella trying to step into that box they've drawn! Well, actually, I think she's trying to "squish" Annlee's box.

Look what Annlee's curls do when they are pulled back in a ponytail and get wet... it's just one big curl down her back!Kaylin got a chance to play with her dear friend from Apalachicola, Becca, while we were there.

Part 3 - In the house

Most of our time was spent down by the pool and the beach, but we had fun in the house too.

My family loves to play games - we played until very late most every night. This was an afternoon Bananagram competition. It's a new game for us, and SO much fun!

Maryella and Sarah Beasley, a little girl who was born shortly after we left Apalachicola. Her mom and I were pregnant and in the choir together. We got to visit with her family the first night we were at the beach.

Luau Night - we had grilled chicken with pineapple, yummy!



Pinata Fun - we all had to have a turn! We ended up calling it a night pretty quickly though because of the terrible biting flies! Ugh, they drove us out of the pool on more than one night!
