New haircut / 6 months pregnant

Just a quick picture to show off my new haircut. I always seem to get it cut off sometime during my pregnancies. This also happens to be my 6 month picture - just 3 months left to go!

Santa Breakfast #1

We went to friend's Breakfast with Santa this morning (the first of 2 we have on the schedule this year!). It was fun. We brought gifts that Santa then handed out. It was a great idea, because the kids were willing to go up on stage to get those gifts, where as they might not have been if they were a little scared of Santa. All three of ours went up, although Kaylin wouldn't look at me while she was there. The favorite activity of the morning ended up being playing with the colored tinsel that was all over the floor. The kids all had a ball throwing it up in the air. It was a fun morning. Oh, a funny story - when Maryella went to sit with Santa, she first told him that she wanted some candy and then she told him that she has cereal at her house. It was cute.

School Pictures

I don't think I ever posted the school pictures that the girls had taken this year. I thought I had at least done Kaylin's, but I guess not. Anyway, here are the pictures that Kaylin and Annlee had taken at school.

Our New Addition!

To our Christmas decorations! Check out our new stockings! I've been waiting for years to get personalized stockings - just had to wait until we knew who everyone was going to be! They are from Pottery Barn - yes, they were a splurge, but very worth it! We will be using them for the rest of our lives! I love them! They came late last night, I guess, because the box was on the porch this morning. I couldn't even eat breakfast until they were hanging up! I'm so excited! Anyway, I just had to show them off!

Deck the Halls!

We got our tree up and our house decorated! I love Christmas! It's most definitely my favorite holiday! Every year, we give our girls a new ornament to put on the tree - those are the first ornaments to go on. It's kind of our kick off to Christmas decorating. This year, Maryella got a puppy ornament because she loves puppies so much. Annlee got an ornament of Pooh and Piglet wishing on a star - she begs frequently to stay up late and make wishes on stars. Kaylin got one of two little bears reading a book to commemorate how well her reading has progressed this year.
I had hoped to decorate outside yesterday, but the weather didn't cooperate. Maybe one day this week I'll get a chance to work on that.

Little Dancer

Annlee's dance class did a little performance at our local mall the weekend before Thanksgiving. She was very excited and looked really cute! Here are a couple pictures...

Thanksgiving in Tampa

Last Tuesday, Annlee had her Thanksgiving Feast and then as soon as Kaylin got out of school, we drove down to Tampa and stayed through Saturday to celebrate Thanksgiving with Jeff's side of the family. It was such a great trip and we had tons of fun. Maryella didn't want to leave and kept saying that she really wanted to stay at Mema and Papa's house.

Other than the traditional Thanksgiving meal, we also went to see Madagascar 2, which was really cute. Kaylin and Annlee loved it and Maryella made it through all but the last 20-30 minutes or so. We also took advantage of the Black Friday sales. Jeff and I got up on Friday (not too early - I promise, maybe about 8:30ish or so) and we left the girls with Mema and Papa. We got just about all of our Christmas shopping done! Whew! Glad to have that behind us. Last night, I got about 2/3rds of it wrapped, so it's really "beginning to feel a lot like Christmas" around here! I love it!

Here's a few pictures from our trip...
