Stop Growing Up!

Sometimes I just wish I could stop time and keep the girls little! It's fun to watch them learn new things and to grow. But, oh, how I wish their childhood could last forever!
This morning, Kaylin asked for a very specific hairdo. It looked cute (the pictures don't do it justice), but boy, combined with her outfit and everything, she looked like she was on the verge of preteen years, rather than in the midst of childhood.

Annlee is in such a hurry to be "just like Kaylin". She wants to grow up so badly! And Maryella is becoming less of a baby and more of a little girl everyday. It's scary how fast it happens!

Sometimes I tell the girls to "stop growing up!" They just smile or say something like "I can't Mama, that's how God made me." Yes, I suppose so. But I wonder if perhaps He could slow time down just a bit?

I pray that I will be able to enjoy each day of their precious lives to the fullest. These girls are so special and I'm so thankful for them! Thank you God for these blessings you have given us!
