Kaylin and I went on Friday to meet her teacher for 1st grade! (I can't believe my big girl is going to 1st grade!!!!!) Her name is Mrs. Robinson and she was SO SWEET!!! We had requested her because we heard she "the" teacher to get and it seems like we were right. I'm really looking forward to a great year with her!
Kaylin is excited because she knows several kids in the class already. That sure makes it easier to walk in on the first day! Speaking of the first day - just one more day away! School starts Monday for her. Stay tuned for plenty of pictures from her first day of 1st grade! For now, here are a couple from Friday.

Okay two things... Kaylin's vulnerable expression in the pic with the teacher made me tear up for some reason that God only knows. And the second is that her teacher looks just like a friend of mine here! Crazy... and I mean JUST LIKE HER!
