Who Needs Disney?

Not Lake City, apparently! Maryella was invited to a birthday today for a little girl in her preschool class. The little girl's mom owns a hair salon here in town and she and her stylists dressed up like princesses and transformed the salon into a Bippity Boppity Bootique. She asked each girl to wear a princess dress and at the party they did hair, makeup, nails and accessories for everyone. Maryella was stunned for awhile when we walked in and she saw Cinderella, Belle and the other princesses there. She told Snow White that she had dressed up like her for Halloween. Tinkerbell was doing makeup and Maryella just let her put pixie dust on her. She didn't want eye shadow and we had to wipe off the lipstick that she had put on. Belle did her fingernails and by the end of the party, Maryella had picked it all off. Cinderella fixed her hair for her and that was probably her favorite part. She wore her hair like that until bathtime tonight. She then got her accessories on and looked so cute! They gave her a candy necklace and bracelet that she promptly ate until it was gone! She was then ready for the "pink carpet"! After that, they all danced together and had the best time. I was extremely impressed with all the effort that had gone into this party! It was amazing!
