Bloom Where You Are Planted

Jeff had a raised bed garden when we lived in Kentucky and really enjoyed it. He tried it when we moved to Apalachicola, but it never produced much. He has decided to give it another go and we will see what happens. The girls loved helping him build it and get everything planted this weekend! All three of the big girls helped out with the planting. Even Elianna was curious about the whole affair.
They were all interested and excited about the possibilities.

But Kaylin was the one who really stuck with it. She was so excited to get everything in the ground. We've got tons of plants growing now and my mouth is just watering - onion, banana pepper, bell pepper, tomato, lettuce, corn, green beans, squash, zuchinni, carrots, and several herbs. We've got just a row or two of each. Once it was all planted, it was time to water it. And what good is a sprinkler without 4 little girls to play in it? They all had a ball getting good and soaked! And as a final picture, it's looking promising! We've already got a little sprout growing! This one is rosemary, but we've also got a little bit of corn sprouting too.
