The girls always amaze me at how good they are on Easter morning. Because Jeff has to get to church so early, we don't have time to look at Easter baskets before he leaves. Neither of us want him to miss out on the Easter basket fun, so we always put the baskets in the dining room so the girls can't see them. And they don't peek! For the last 2 years, the Easter Bunny has left a new movie in the living room for the girls to enjoy before church and that has helped tremendously. This year, they got a new Barbie movie to keep them entertained. We also got up and went to the sunrise service and breakfast that they youth did. All of that helped take their minds off what was waiting in the dining room for them. But when we got home from church at about 12:30ish, they couldn't wait any longer! They sat in the living room and we brought in the baskets. They were thrilled with all their new goodies!
