A few more from Daytona

I forgot that I still had a few pictures on my camera when we got home. Here are the last ones we took at Daytona...
The girls enjoy some ice cream on our balcony

We went to the pool after our ice cream snack and had only been in about 20 minutes when a storm came in. I wish I had my camera down at the pool with me, because it was very impressive to see those clouds rolling in. This is what everything looked like by the time we waited on the elevators (along with everyone else in the hotel!) and got back up to the room. Police were trying to keep people off the beach and our pools were closed.

After the storm, we were rewarded with a beautiful rainbow!

Annual Conference at Daytona Beach!

We just got home from Annual Conference and had the best time! Every year, all the United Methodist pastors get together to hear various reports and speakers, vote on things, and have new pastors recognized at different levels. This year, we headed off to Daytona, where Conference is held every 4th year or so. It's by far our favorite location! The beach is a nice place to play while Daddy is in meetings! We decided to stay an extra day this year so Jeff could enjoy the beach with us, too. We had a ball and saw some old friends and took tons of pictures. It was great! Enjoy the picture overload!
This picture is some of the other Asbury grads that we knew while we were in seminary.
Check out this kiddie pool area at the hotel! It was like a mini water park! The girls and I stayed here most of the time.

Enjoying the lazy river at the hotel!
