Elianna is 2 Weeks Old!

Elianna is 2 weeks old today! I can't believe it! She's still a really good baby - sleeps great at night! And yes, I know how lucky I am for that! She's the first one of ours to do that. She usually sleeps for 5-6 hours at a time.
She's starting to have a fussy time in the early evenings, I'm hoping that doesn't become a pattern, but if that's my only complaint, I'll be thankful!
Her sisters are still in love and want to hold her constantly. Kaylin would hold her 24 hrs a day if I let her, I think.
Here are a few pictures from today (the brown polka dot shirt) and from this past week. The one with the bow is especially for her Aunt Linny who is visiting right now. (She hates headbands, lol).

Splish Splash, Take a Bath!

Elianna had her first bath last night! It took her about a minute to get used to it, but after that, Ithink she ended up enjoying it. The girls were loving watching the show, haha.

Elianna is One Week Old!

I can't believe that Elianna is already 1 week old! Wow! This first week flew by! Her little umblical stump fell off today, so she'll be having her first bath tonight too. All these firsts! I got a little sad thinking that this is the beginning of the last of all the firsts that we will be experiencing, if that makes any sense. It's a bit bittersweet.
This week has been a wonderful, sweet time of getting to know our baby girl. So far, she seems to be pretty laid back, alert, and curious. She'll already try to turn her head towards sounds. She has a really strong neck and will pick her head up when she on her tummy so she can try to look around.
The other three girls are absolutely in love with her and can't go to bed at night without giving her a kiss. They are always asking what she's doing. And the first thing Kaylin and Annlee want to do when they get home from school is see her. It's so special to see them bonding so well with her. I love thinking what life will be like for all of them with three sisters! How fun!

I look at these girls and can't believe how blessed we are! I love them all so much! God is so good!

First Doctor Appointment

Elianna went back in on Thursday for her first doctor appointment since leaving the hospital. (Just a well check) Everything looked perfect. She weighed in at 7lb 6oz, the same as when we left the hospital. The doctor commented that her color looked beautiful and that she was holding her head up really well for 3 days old.

We also brought Maryella in to have her checked out. She and Annlee both have a nasty cold. Of course, we were told that it was just viral and has to run it's course. Hopefully they will be over it soon. They are already both feeling better. Annlee is begging to go back to school on Monday!

She's here!!!

Elianna Grace was born Monday, March 2nd at 4:47am. Total labor was 7 hrs. She weighed 7lbs 12 oz, 21 inches long. She's got a head full of dark hair and is totally gorgeous! She's prefectly healthy. We're already home and all doing great! Her sisters are in love and can't get enough of her!
