Maryella

I've been trying to get a really good picture of Maryella for her 3 year picture so I can hang it on the wall (I've got a picture of each of them at each year hanging down the hallway. It's fun to see the progression through the years!). I'm not sure if one of these will be "it", the little spots by her nose and on her chin bother me. However, the child is NEVER without some sort of little sore of one kind or another, so I may just go with this. Anyway, I wanted to share them because, despite the sores, they turned out really pretty! I love this precious girl, even though I'm pretty sure she's going to be the one to give me gray hairs before too long! She's fun and full of life, she is always going full speed until she finally collapses at night (and even that is a struggle for her to do!) Yes, she's a challenge and can be stubborn and extremely strong willed. She's got a temper like you wouldn't believe and tends to have a pretty mean streak when her sisters don't cooperate. But she's funny and sweet and loving and happy and has such a charming personality when she wants to. She's cute and she knows it. She can make me laugh when I'm really wanting to be aggravated with her. She's curious about everything and thinks she's just as big as her sisters.
I love her SO much!!!!

My Baby Doll

I was taking some pictures of Elianna this afternoon and wanted to share. Look at this baby, she's such a sweetie pie! I love her more than words can say! God has blessed us 4 times over. I'm amazed everyday at how good He is!

And look at this one from yesterday, it just cracks me up! How cute is she????

Elianna, 5 Months Old

Ah my sweet girl is 5 months old today! Time flies!

She's still such a good baby. She loves to smile, laugh, jump in her new jumperoo and watch her sisters play.

She can roll over both ways now, and when she's on her belly, she likes to pull her knees up underneath her.

She's not really sitting yet, but is getting close. She'll try to hold herself up in that position when I put her there.
We're trying to get her to start sleeping in her own bed. She's been in our room, but I think she'll sleep even better in her bed (I know I will!). Last night was the first night and we didn't have much success. Nap times go much better than night time. Hopefully we'll get it all figured out soon. This picture is in her pack n play out in the living room - one of her last naps in it, she's getting too long.
She's still eating well - 6 ounces every 4 hours during the day and usually sleeping all night. She's still growing great. We tried switching to an off brand formula recently, but that didn't go so well. We're back using Similac Advance, which is expensive, but worth it if that's all that agrees with her tummy.

Sunday Morning

I took these pictures before church this morning. The girls all looked so pretty in their blue! (Elianna's picture is in her 5 month post!)

All about Tink

Maryella loves everything about Tinkerbell. I just thought I'd share this picture of her in her bed with all her Tinkerbells - the dolls, sheets, even her shirt. The shirt was a birthday gift - it's got her name on it.

Jumperoo and Talking, too?

We got this new jumperoo for Elianna the other day and it is a HIT! She loves it! You put her in it and she starts jumping immediately. She loves all the toys and the music and especially the jumping! Here is a little video of her in it yesterday.

And tonight, while I was bathing Annlee and Maryella, Kaylin was in the living room with Elianna who was in her jumperoo again. Apparently, she decided to do a little videoing on her camera and she came running to me wanting me to watch because she had heard Elianna say "hey". I'll leave it up to you whether or not she said it, ;o) lol, but what's so funny to me is hearing Kaylin's reaction. I've watched it over and over and laughed every time. She's embarrassed because she says, "Oh my God", which we don't allow the girls to say in this context. She's counting on the fact that no one will know which sister she is because you can't see her face, haha. It's too funny not to share though. There's actually 2 videos and both are pretty cute.

Party Time

Maryella had her birthday party with her friends today. She wanted a Tinkerbell party (imagine that!) at the church playground. There were 8 kids (including ours) there and they had a good time.
When we got home, Maryella said she had been so excited to have her birthday party with her friends. Then her face turned sad and she got really quiet and looked down. I asked her what was wrong and she said, "Now I'm sad. I don't have any more birthday coming up." I always feel the same way after a big event finally comes and then it's all over.
